Roberto Deambrogio was appointed Head of the Rest of the World area since December 2024. In 2024 he was in charge of the Other Countries area, after having served as Head of Communications of Enel Group from 2019 to 2023. In 2015 he was appointed Head of the Group's Eastern Europe area, a role that was expanded in April 2016 to cover the rest Europe and North Africa. Previously he worked at Enel Green Power, where he was Head of Operations in Italy and Europe from 2010 onwards, in addition to being responsible for South Africa and Morocco.
Deambrogio has been with the Enel Group since 2005, initially serving as the assistant to the CEO for international activities. From 2006 to 2008 he was Head of Development for renewable energies as part of the International Division, before moving to Enel Green Power, where he was Head of Business Development from 2009 to 2010.
Before joining Enel, Deambrogio worked at Pirelli and in Bain & Company (from 1998 to 2000 and again from 2002 to 2005), where he worked on strategic consulting, following numerous multinational operators in the industry, and working for various company offices in Europe and Latin America. For the duration of 2001, he worked in Merrill Lynch's London office in the investment banking division.
He holds a degree in Economics and Social Studies from Bocconi University, Milan, as well as an MBA from Columbia Business School, New York.
