On 8 March 2018, #EnelFocusOn went to Goiânia, Brazil. The theme of this seventh edition was the future of digitalization and smart grids.
Zeynep Tufekci, professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a regular contributor to The New York Times and The Atlantic, discussed the benefits of the evolution of smart grids with more than 20 influencers from countries around the world in which Enel operates.
Introducing the event was Ryan O’Keeffe, Director of Communications at Enel.

Zeynep Tufekci
A writer and sociologist, best known for her research on the social implications of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data, she teaches at the University of North Carolina and at Harvard’s Berkman Klein Center for Internet and Society. She is a regular contributor for The New York Times.
