Sustainable Finance

Enel is leading the way in the field of sustainability-linked finance. In addition to its Sustainability-Linked Bonds, it has also developed a series of other instruments to help reach the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Enel’s Green Bonds, which were first issued in 2017, have helped raise 3.5 billion euros to finance sustainable projects. These projects cover a range of areas, including renewable energy generation and distribution, and smart meters.
