With Enel and ADR, renewables are flying high: the launch of Europe's largest airport photovoltaic system
The new 22 MWp solar farm at Leonardo da Vinci Airport is the largest self-consuming photovoltaic installation within the grounds of a European airport, and is set to reduce CO2 emissions by more than 11,000 tons per year. Environment and Energy Security Minister Gilberto Pichetto Fratin also attended the inauguration while, according to Francesca Gostinelli, "Enel’s experience and innovation make it a unique partner in the energy transition."
