Chile: the Enel Distribución Office

Enel Distribución’s Centro de Operación del Sistema (COS), or System Operation Centre, is responsible for monitoring energy distribution in 33 cities in the concession area, with more than 1.9 million customers. It consists of 17,300 km of high, medium and low voltage networks, connected to 58 substations, and includes more than 1,800 remote control teams that guarantee the resumption of supply remotely in just a few minutes.
