Italy: view of the Portoscuso wind farm
A sweeping view of the Portoscuso wind farm and its 39 wind turbines. Located within the Sulcis-Iglesiente-Guspinese area, which is a designated Site of National Interest on the southwestern coast of Sardinia, Portoscuso is Enel Green Power's largest wind farm in Italy. Since 2011, it has prevented the emission of 130,000 metric tons of CO2 per year, contributing to the decarbonization of the island and of Italy.
